Christopher McCray

Living in Chicago since 2000. In that time I’ve worked with several professional dance companies. Worked as the artistic director of Chicago Dance Crash then founded my own dance company Corpo Dace Company. Unfortunately in 2006 Corpo closed its door when the economy tanked so I reinvented myself in 2009 as a burlesque performer. In 2011 I was induced in the burlesque hall of fame as part of the all male burlesque group the Stage Door Johnnies. Then in 2013 I was induced again as the 2013 King of Burlesque. Since that time I have travel the US and internationally headlining Burlesque productions, teaching various choreography and composition based classes and producing my own production called the Vertical Side Show
